Twilight switch and timer in one product: With the TTS Pro, STEINEL simplifies lighting control in outdoor areas. In addition to intelligent functions, the Bluetooth® Mesh wireless protocol used also plays its part. It allows STEINEL Connect lights to be wirelessly linked and configured.
Whether for private homes, commercial spaces, or industrial sites: The TTS PRO photoelectric lighting controller from STEINEL ensures reliable outdoor lighting management at all times. Thanks to the built-in timer, connected lights can respond both to ambient brightness and to scheduled switching times – for example, to adjust lighting to changing business hours. This makes it possible to turn on the lights at 100% brightness from Monday to Friday during twilight, while only 10% may be needed on weekends.

Commissioning and Configuration via App
Setup is handled through the STEINEL Connect app using Bluetooth Mesh. Once integrated into the wireless network and the desired lighting group is selected, the app allows users to choose whether the lights should be activated by a twilight threshold or by the built-in timer.
For ambient brightness, a value between 1 and 1000 lux can be set either using a slider or by entering a specific number. Alternatively, a teach-in function is available, which adopts the current brightness level – or the level measured at a chosen time — as the twilight threshold. In “Nightmatic” mode, switching on and off is based on natural light levels at dusk and dawn.
If timer-based control is preferred, users can set the earliest or latest on/off times directly in the app. In night-saving mode, the lights remain completely off for a selectable time period to further reduce energy consumption..
Real-Time Clock and Backup Battery for Added Reliability
A key feature of the TTS PRO is its built-in real-time clock (RTC) with buffered power supply. Its backup battery provides up to seven days of power, ensuring that time settings and configurations are retained even during a power outage. This enhances operational reliability, especially in intermittently used properties or in areas with unstable power supply, and prevents unwanted lighting failures at night.
Its combination of twilight sensor and timer functionality also makes the TTS Pro well-suited for commercial use.
Quick and Easy Installation
For precise lighting control, the TTS PRO can be mounted at a height between 1.80 and 4.00 meters (6 to 13 feet). Existing lights can be connected via wiring, while STEINEL Bluetooth Mesh products can be integrated wirelessly. The switching capacity is 250 watts LED, either via relay or Bluetooth Mesh. The combination of twilight switch and timer further speeds up installation – only one device needs to be mounted.
