JUNG HOME Pucks facilitate installation in existing buildings. The new, compact modules control lighting and shading, regulate temperature, and switch electrical consumers. Their wireless networking via Bluetooth® Mesh makes them universally applicable – without a server or Internet connection. A smartphone with the JUNG HOME app is all that is needed for commissioning..
The seven new components (link) expand the JUNG HOME portfolio and integrate seamlessly into the building control system. Thanks to their modular design, smart homes can be expanded and adapted step by step. The JUNG HOME Pucks feature a flat design that allows them to be installed in existing flush-mounted boxes, roller shutter boxes, or false ceilings. Depending on the application, they either operate based on the existing 230-volt installation or are battery-powered. Control is either directly via control elements on the wall or locally via the JUNG HOME app. JUNG HOME Pucks are encrypted and networked with each other via Bluetooth® Mesh and also handle communication within the system. A central server or an internet connection is not necessary.

Easy to Install without Special Knowledge
JUNG HOME Pucks are compatible with conventional mechanical push buttons and can be installed in any existing building. Commissioning and configuration are carried out using the free JUNG HOME app. It serves as a central tool for both installers and users for integrating and controlling the devices.
For time-based functions such as automations, scenes, or the astro function to be executed, JUNG HOME Pucks require a timer in the system. This task can be performed by JUNG HOME devices – push buttons, motion detectors, sockets, and room thermostats – as well as black JUNG HOME actuators. So even on a small budget, the installation pays off, because just one such device is enough to reliably operate all the pucks in the building on a time-controlled basis.
Versatile Switching Actuators
The single-channel Energy and dual-channel switching actuators are not limited to a specific area of application. They can be used for various purposes. The dual-channel switching actuator (BTPS2B2U) switches two independent 230-volt loads via separate channels. The single-channel Energy switching actuator (BTPSE1B2U) is just as versatile – it can be used to switch lights, heating systems, or other electrical loads, for example. However, it also has an integrated measuring function for recording the power consumption of connected consumers.

Intelligent Lighting Control
For applications where light needs to be controlled, JUNG offers specialized pucks: the 1-gang dimmer (BTPD1B2U) enables stepless control of dimmable lights and is installed in the light canopy or in false ceilings. The Power DALI-2 control unit (BTPDSTEB2U) with tunable white function can supply up to 64 DALI participants. This allows brightness and color temperature to be flexibly adjusted to the time of day and usage – even in smaller commercial applications such as offices or meeting rooms.
Automated Shading
The 1-gang blind actuator (BTPJ1B2U) is available for controlling roller shutters, blinds, and awnings. It controls 230-volt drives for roller shutters, blinds, and awnings either via the usual wall-mounted push buttons or via the JUNG HOME app. The control can be customized, and the slat angle of blinds can also be precisely adjusted. This provides greater comfort and supports energy-efficient building use.

Demand-Based Temperature Control
The single-channel Energy switch actuator or the dual-channel switch actuator are used to control the room temperature. The 1-gang Energy switch actuator controls infrared heaters, for example, and its measuring function supports economical heating behavior. The 2-gang switch actuator also switches water-based and electric heating systems. Both Pucks can be installed behind a cable outlet or operated in combination with the JUNG HOME room thermostat.

Binary Inputs for Flexibility
Two Pucks with binary inputs expand the functional diversity offered by the new product range: The 2-gang 230 V binary input (BTPB2U) integrates conventional switches, push buttons, or signal transmitters into JUNG HOME. The 2-gang battery-powered binary input (BTPPB2UB) enables wireless retrofitting and flexible placement of push buttons – ideal for modernization and where installation depth is limited.
As a radio-based smart home system, JUNG HOME is particularly well suited for retrofitting existing installations in residential properties and renovation projects. With the JUNG HOME Pucks, JUNG offers specialist tradesmen and wholesalers a clearly positioned solution for budget-conscious planning. The combination of compact design, local networking, and modular expandability with connection to the extensive JUNG HOME portfolio addresses key requirements for intelligent building technology – especially where a future-proof smart home is to be realized without structural intervention.
