Grässlin’s trim series may well be the smallest flush-mounted dimmers on the market. The three models – trim 100, trim 200, and trim 300 – are designed to fit into any standard wall box, thanks to their remarkably compact form factor. Two of the models also support Bluetooth Mesh, enabling wireless control and smart features via a mobile app.
„Made in Germany“, these ultra-slim dimmers are suitable for both new and retrofit installations and can be added to existing buildings without any structural changes. Their small footprint even makes it possible to install two dimmers in a single wall box, such as behind a dual rocker switch.

Maximizing space: The slim design allows two trim dimmers to be mounted side by side in one flush-mount box – ideal where space is tight.
No neutral wire is needed for installation, and the dimmers automatically detect the type of load connected. That means they can handle both incandescent and halogen bulbs (resistive loads) as well as LEDs (capacitive loads). With IP65-rated protection, they’re also suitable for damp environments like bathrooms or basements.
trim 100: Mini Dimmer for Maximum Flexibility
Just slightly larger than an SD card, the trim 100 measures only 25.6 × 26.4 × 10.4 mm (H × W × D), making it a perfect fit even in tight spaces. It’s controlled by a standard push-button switch and offers optimized settings for LEDs and incandescent lamps. The dimmer supports ultra-low dim levels and features a memory function that recalls the last brightness setting. Its fully sealed housing allows for safe use in wet areas, and built-in protection against overcurrent, overheating, and short circuits ensures reliable operation.

trim 200: Smart Control with Bluetooth® Mesh
Slightly larger at 32.5 × 26.4 × 9.6 mm, the trim 200 brings smart wireless control into the mix. It includes a Bluetooth Mesh module that allows multiple units to form a decentralized network. This makes it easy to group lights, extend range across rooms or floors, and integrate with other Bluetooth Mesh-enabled systems.
Beyond traditional switch control, the trim 200 can be managed via a smartphone app, offering handy features like a countdown timer, stairwell lighting with visual warning, and a soft fade-out. Great for gently dimming the lights in a child’s room before bedtime.

Grässlin trim 300: Smart Dimmer Meets Programmable Timer
The top-tier trim 300 adds even more functionality. Like the trim 200, it supports Bluetooth Mesh and app-based control, but it also functions as a programmable timer. It includes a weekly schedule, yearly calendar, and astronomical functions like fade-in and fade-out based on sunrise and sunset. A seven-hour power reserve keeps the clock running during outages, and custom scenes let users store and recall lighting moods. It even includes energy monitoring to keep an eye on power consumption.
The trim 200 and 300 can work together in a shared Bluetooth Mesh network, boosting each other’s wireless range. Commands are passed from device to device, so even distant rooms remain reachable. When multiple trim 300 dimmers are connected, they automatically share and synchronize time and date values– ensuring that all timers and schedules stay perfectly aligned across the entire system.
